What does E15 mean on a Thermador dishwasher?
E15 is a leak-protection trip: the dishwasher's base sensor (the anti-flood / Aquastop float) detected water in the base pan and shut off to prevent a flood. It usually means a small leak somewhere in the tub, door seal, or hoses. Tipping the unit to drain the base and clearing the leak resets it; if it returns, the leak source needs to be found.
What does E24 mean on a Thermador dishwasher?
E24 is a drainage fault — the dishwasher cannot pump water out. The usual causes are a clogged filter or drain hose, a blocked air gap or disposer knockout, or a failing drain pump. Cleaning the filter and clearing the drain path is owner-safe; a failed pump needs service.
Why do Thermador oven F-codes vary between models?
Thermador has used several oven control generations, so the same F-number can mean different things across model years. We describe the subsystem each points to (sensor, relay/board, over-temperature) and tell you to confirm the exact digit against your model rather than assume a generic meaning.
Can I fix a Thermador code myself?
Several dishwasher and usage codes are owner-clearable: draining the base for E15, cleaning the filter/drain for E24, using correct cookware for an induction cookware alert, and power-cycling at the breaker. Oven sensor, control-board, induction power-module and refrigeration sealed-system faults need a technician.

Is it safe to keep using my Thermador after a code?
A dishwasher E15/E24 should stop you from running it until the leak or drain issue is resolved. Oven over-temperature and sensor faults, and induction power-module faults, should also be checked before further use. A simple cookware or routine alert can be cleared and you can continue.
